JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PUBLIC WORKS RECYCLE LABORER Springfield Township, Montco, is seeking individuals for the position of Public Works Recycle Laborer. This full-time position is responsible for the daily collection of acceptable recycle materials placed curbside by residents. This position is also responsible for weekly maintenance of the collection truck to include greasing and washing. This position requires the availability of assisting in emergency situations after normal work hours. Applicants should have a general understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to frequently lift material placed curbside. A High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License is required. A Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers License and 3-5 years of municipal work or equivalent construction trade experience is preferred. Applications may be obtained (9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) from the Township Receptionist at 1510 Paper Mill Road, Wyndmoor, PA 19038. Applications will not be mailed out.
